Are you looking for a cute way to give gift cards, treats, or other small gifts this holiday season? I’ve got the cutest idea for you today! I showed today’s project using the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP) by Stampin’ Up!, but you could use ANY paper for this project, to give it the vibe you’re looking for!
PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this cute pouch. It helps to see exactly how I did each step!
I started out using one of our Medium White Envelopes, and I glued it shut. Then, I covered both sides using one of the beautiful prints from the Sentimental Christmas DSP pack. This is such pretty paper!
After gluing it shut and covering it with paper, I trimmed off approximately 3/4″ off the top of the envelope, which created the pouch. Then, I angle cut the top edges, using my Paper Trimmer, just to give it a nice touch. You could leave this step out, if you wish!
Finally, I decorated the front of the pouch and had fun! You could use anything you want for this step, but I’ll tell you what I used.
The Basic White circle is one of the dies from the Spotlight on Nature die set, and I stamped the sentiment from Greetings of the Season stamp set, using Cherry Cobbler ink.
Next, I die cut out some pine boughs from the Winterly Tree Tops die set, in both Shaded Spruce and Old Olive cardstocks, and then also punched out some leaves using the Bough punch and Basic White cardstock. The last leaf I added was the Gold Woven Leaves, which gave that Vintage, gold touch that I needed!
The two little strips of DSP underneath the bottom of the circle are from the Sentimental Christmas paper pack as well, and one of the strips is 1/2″ wide, and the other is 3/4″ wide. I bannered the edges of these strips, and layered everything together on the front of the pouch.
The gems are from the Metallic Gems pack, and the ribbon is the Shaded Spruce Satin & Sheer Ribbon. Finally, I closed the top of the pouch using the handheld punch by We R Memory Keepers and a wooden bead, both of which you can find in my Amazon affiliate shop by clicking HERE. The bead keeps the pouch closed, while also adding an adorable touch to the entire look!
I hope you LOVE this project! I thought it was SO much fun to make, and I think I’ll make a few with all different papers!

I’m so glad you like it!! I always buy a variety pack of the wooden beads, so I’m actually not sure exactly what the size is. It’s a small one, but definitely not the smallest!!
