Festive Cheer Double Bridge Card

Are you looking for some fun “Christmas in July” inspiration?? You’re going to LOVE this Double Bridge Fold card that I made today, featuring the Festive Cheer stamp set! I made this card on this week’s Great North American Stampin’ Show, Season 9, Episode 4. We were challenged to make Christmas projects, anything goes! Yay!

This card starts off with a piece of Old Olive cardstock, measuring 4-1/4″ x 8″. It is scored, on the 8″ side, at 1-1/4″, 2-1/2″, 5-1/2″, and 6-3/4″. Now, you can fold along the score lines to form the shape of the “bridge” card.

The card front is decorated with the A Stitched Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP). The outer edge pieces both measure 1-1/8″ x 4-1/8″, and the center/inside piece measures 2-3/4″ x 4-1/8″. Finally, the back of the card also has a piece of Basic White cardstock (where you can write your sentiment), and this piece also measures 2-3/4″ x 4-1/8″.

The Old Olive “bridge” pieces measure 1″ x 5-1/2″, and 3/4″ x 5-1/2″. I adhered them both using Stampin’ Seal adhesive. You only put adhesive on each end of these strips. The plaid DSP strip on the top piece measures 7/8″ x 5-3/8″.

I used Peaceful Pine, Old Olive, and Real Red inks to stamp the ornaments, and die cut them out using the matching die set. I love the miniature ornament “toppers,” as well as the little strings! I die cut all of these using Basic Black cardstock.

The sentiment is stamped on the smallest die from the Beautifully Celebrated die set, using Peaceful Pine ink. I added a few pine boughs that I die cut out, and the entire card came together so beautifully!
