Woodland Wishes Circle Card

This is my LAST Christmas in July card for July, 2026, and it’s a day late! LOLOL!! Let’s pretend it’s not August 1 today. HA!

I have the cutest card for you today, made with the Woodland Wishes stamp set. These little animals are the CUTEST!!

My card base is made from Cloud Cover cardstock, measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. After folding the card, I cut off 1″ from the card front, and then gently ripped off the edge to give a torn look. It took off about an extra 1/4″. I layered A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper on top of that, also ripping the right-hand edge so that they matched. The background on this snowflake-printed paper is Secret Sea, and I love how Secret Sea and Cloud Cover go together. SO pretty!

I die cut out 3 circles from the Stylish Shapes dies from Real Red cardstock, and adhered them to the card front. Then, I punched out some Basic White circles, using the 1-7/8″ circle punch. I stamped the little animals onto them using black ink, and colored them in with Stampin’ Blends markers. If you look closely, you can see that I outlined the animals with the Light Pool Party Blends marker, which helps to make the animals not look quite so stark on the white circles. Isn’t that a neat technique??

Before mounting the DSP onto the card front, I wrapped some Cloud Cover ribbon around it, tying it off with a White Twine bow and a little piece of Secret Sea bordered ribbon. I LOVE putting together several ribbons to add a “splash,” instead of just a plain, ol’ bow. It adds a special touch!

The inside of the card has a 1-1/4″ x 5-3/8″ piece of the beautiful Shimmering Stripes paper, which adds some sparkle and whimsy. I LOVE this paper pack! It doesn’t look impressive on the website, so I’m just telling you to buy yourself a pack and plan to use it this holiday season! You’re going to love it! It has tiny, thin silver glitter stripes.
