Do you ever make home décor? Or homemade décor for parties? I love to do this, and I don’t do it as often as I’d like! But, I’m hosting a bridal shower in my home in a couple of weeks, so I wanted to make sure to have time to create some pretty décor, and I got to work this weekend.

For this project, I pulled out one of my retired heart-shaped punches from Stampin’ Up!, and punched out a ton of hearts from Basic White cardstock. Then, I took several of them and embossed them with a couple of different embossing folders. I wanted to do this to create some interest, instead of just having the hearts all be completely plain. I used both the So Swirly embossing folder, as well as the Eyelet 3D embossing folder.

I cut myself a long piece of white twine, and then warmed up my hot glue gun. PLEASE CLICK HERE to go to my Amazon affiliate shop, where I have the hot glue gun listed that I love to use. It’s my favorite, because it has a really thin tip which helps me be able to control where it goes much better than a wide tip! I hot glued the hearts together, in a pattern, along the entire length of the twine. Finally, I wrapped the entire thing around a mini tree in my entryway that has white, twinkling lights on it. I love how it turned out!
