Are you ready to start seeing Christmas projects yet? I’m not quite sure if I am or not, but here we are! I know I need to start pulling out all of my holiday-themed stamp sets, papers, and embellishments, and start getting going on all of these designs!
The Beary Cute stamp set by Stampin’ Up! is so cute. I know I say that about so many things in our catalogs, but it’s true! And, this particular stamp set also has a bear punch that coordinates with it, which makes it even better! The bear images that I used on this particular card don’t match the punch, so I had to cut these out by hand. But don’t worry…I have already used that punch a lot, and I love it! (There, you see, I said it again! Tee hee!)

This card is a very easy fun fold card. I love cards that are a little bit “different,” and yet they’re not hard to whip out, just like any regular card. You start with a regular 4-1/4″ x 11″ piece of cardstock (I used Cherry Cobbler here), fold it in half, and then cut off 1-1/2″ from one of the edges. But, whatever you do, don’t throw away that piece that you just cut off! We’ll be using that to layer with our sentiment!
Next, I pulled out the “A Walk in the Forest” Designer Series Paper (DSP), and checked out all of the different designs until I found two that went well together. I love the pine needles, berries, and pine cones on the one design, and then the coordinating colors of stripes on the other design. They really compliment each other so well! I put one design on the front, the striped design on the inside (right-hand edge), and then regular Basic White cardstock on the inside of the card, where you would sign your name.
Next, I stamped the bears in Crumb Cake ink onto Crumb Cake cardstock, and cut them out. I stamped the sentiment onto the Basic White layer using Pretty Peacock ink, and then layered both of the bears on top of it, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The final touch is the Linen Thread bow on the bear’s neck. It’s the perfect addition, don’t you think?
And, voila! The card is finished. It is so easy, and yet a super fun design!
