I have another cute and EASY Fun Fold card for you today, and I think you’re going to love it! One of the reasons I like it so much is that it features BOTH sides of our gorgeous Designer Series Paper (DSP), which is fabulous because our papers are amazing on both sides!! I also love this layout, because it is EASY and FAST, and you can “let the DSP do all the hard work” because it’s so adorably cute!
PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card. I hope you love this layout as much as I do!
This card starts out with a postcard-sized piece of Poppy Parade cardstock, measuring 4-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Layered on top of this is a piece of DSP, and you can choose any design you’d like! Mine came from the Snowy Scenes paper pack, and I just love these little houses printed all over this paper. This piece of DSP measures 5-1/4″ x 6″, and it’s scored at 2″ on the 6″ side. Fold this piece on the score line, and adhere it to the card base. Look how cute it’s already turning out!
I added a small piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card, where you can write your note to the recipient. I stamped a few candy canes on this piece, using Poppy Parade ink, and then added this piece to the inside of the card. This piece measures 1-3/4″ x 5-1/4″.
Finally, you dress up the front of the card, adding whatever you’d like! I tied a piece of the ADORABLE Pool Party Pompom ribbon around it, tying a knot. Then, I added some of the Real Red & White Striped Baker’s Twine around that, tying a bow. This really added a cute touch, tying this bow on top of the larger ribbon knot.
I stamped the sentiment, using Garden Green ink, onto a piece of Basic White cardstock, punching it out with the Label Punch. I also punched an extra punch from Poppy Parade cardstock, so that I could cut it in half lengthwise and add it to the sentiment to give it a “pop.” I love the way this looks!
I stamped the cute little snowman onto Basic White cardstock, using Black Memento ink. I also stamped his hat, and die cut both of them out with the matching dies. I colored in his little nose with Pumpkin Pie Blends, and then colored his hat with some of the fabulous Wink of Stella to add some glitter to his hat! It’s the perfect touch!
This layout is amazing with ALL kinds of DSP! I’m going to make more of these and show them to you in the next few days…you won’t believe how versatile this layout is!
