I have been asked several times to show you QUICK and EASY Christmas card design layouts, so here you go! Here are four different cards, all using the exact same layout. All I did was change up the ribbon, embellishments, and card base colors, to show you just how easy it is to change it up! I love how all of these cards turned out, only using the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack.
PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made these cards. Aren’t they CUTE?? (If I do say so myself!!)

The basic card base, for all four cards, is a piece of cardstock measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and folded in half. Layered on top of this is a coordinating/contrasting color of cardstock, one that matches whatever colors are in your DSP design. This piece measures 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″.
On top of that, I layered a piece of DSP. I went through the entire pack of DSP, and chose 4 different designs so that you could see how EASY it is to change it up (or leave it the same). All four of these cards use the Reindeer Days DSP. This piece measures 4″ x 5-1/4″.

Before adhering these layers onto the card base, I wrapped them with a piece of ribbon. As you can see, I chose different ribbon for each card. I wanted you to see the flexibility with this design! Then, I adhered these to the card base using Stampin’ Seal (or Liquid Glue).

For the sentiments, I used the 2″ circle punch (Basic White cardstock), and the 2-3/8″ circle punch (colored cardstock). I stamped sentiments from the Reindeer Fun stamp set, as well as the Greetings for the Season stamp set. Look at how this really makes each card unique, just using a different sentiment and ink color!

Finally, I added a few gems onto the cards. For two of the cards, I used the adorable Peppermint Gems, and for the other two cards, I used the Iridescent Faceted Gems. I love them both!
And…voila! These cards didn’t take long to put together at all. Make the beautiful DSP do the work for you! Cut the paper, adhere it to the card base, and add a sentiment. And you’re DONE!

I hope this has given you a great card layout you can use to make a huge stack of Christmas cards this year! You could actually buy and of our gorgeous papers and make any theme of card with this layout…have fun with it and be creative!

Thank you so much for these easy, yet lovely, card ideas! I will admit that I was quite overwhelmed at where to start, and these were a great solution! Now, if the Canada Postal strike is resolved, all would be good!
I’m SO sorry about your strike! This is a terrible time of year for that to happen!! But, I’m so glad this card layout helped you. It’s a GREAT one, no matter what print of paper you choose! Have fun creating!
It’s so nice of you to leave the measurements for the cards. I have problems with that and it’s a great help.
I’m so glad it helps you! It’s a great, basic layout that you should definitely use for ALL seasons! 🙂
