Silly Old Bear Shammy Pillow Gift

Prepping for my recent Silly Old Bear & Friends Craft Along, I needed a pillow gift to add to the box! This absolutely DARLING mini Shammy box was the absolute PERFECT gift, and this idea was given to me by one of our craft along team members, Rosemarrie Gonzales. Yay, Rosie!!

I started out by buying these cute little plastic boxes from Amazon (PLEASE CLICK HERE to go to my Amazon affiliate shop to grab some for yourself!)

I absolutely LOVE this darling product suite, and it’s a “mega suite”! This means that it includes TWO stamp sets and TWO die sets, along with Designer Series Paper (DSP) and an embossing folder. How awesome is that?? And the die set that has the labels in it is FANTASTIC. So very versatile!

For the lid, I die cut out the smaller label from Very Vanilla cardstock, and embossed it with the Hundred Acre Woods embossing folder. Then, using a Blending Brush, I brushed Crumb Cake ink all over the edges to make it look worn. I love how it turned out!

I layered this label onto one that’s die cut out of Crumb Cake cardstock, and then layered both of these onto the lid of the plastic box.

Using Early Espresso ink, I stamped the sentiment onto one of the smaller label dies, and adhered this to the larger labels using Liquid Glue. I also pulled out lots of different animals that I had die cut out of the DSP, and used all of the different Hundred Acre Woods friends on the boxes! They looked SO cute!

I took a Simply Shammy from Stampin’ Up!, and cut it into 4 pieces. One piece fits perfect into this little box. It makes a perfect “to go” shammy, so that you can slip it into your crafting bag, when you’re attending a class or traveling with your stampin’ supplies. I absolutely love it, and I hope you do, too!
