Pretty Poinsettia Scalloped Window Box

I’m BACK with another Christmas in July-themed project! This cutie was the project that I made for today’s episode of the Great North American Stampin’ Show, Season 9, Episode 5. PLEASE CLICK HERE to hop over to watch the replay!

We sell the cutest little food-safe boxes right now, and I love them! They’re approximately 3.5″ square, 1″ high. They’ll fit candies, jewelry, etc. Small, but mighty! And CUTE!

On today’s video, I demonstrated how to color these boxes using our brayer. Have you ever tried using the brayer? They work really well for projects like this! I colored the box with Soft Sea Foam ink, and then layered up the focal point on the top of the box using the Pretty Poinsettia stamps and dies.

The flower is die cut out of Cherry Cobbler, and the leaves from Mossy Meadow cardstock. I stamped the pine boughs with Early Espresso ink onto Crumb Cake cardstock, and the little leaves were stamped with Mossy Meadow ink onto Soft Sea Foam cardstock.

The tag is from the Nested Essentials die set, which is a must-have die set! Super versatile, and goes with any project! I stamped the sentiment using Mossy Meadow ink, and then added some of the Metallic Gems as the perfect finishing touch. They helped to tie in the Gold Foil center of the flower.
