Holiday Packaging/Gift Giving/Decorations – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop

It’s time for the November Creativity Abounds Blog Hop!  We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all around the world who are here to share our creative ideas with you. We hope to inspire you this month with tons of different HOLIDAY PACKAGING/GIFT GIVING/DECORATIONS types of projects, using the Holiday Mini Catalog! You may be starting here, or you may have come from someone else’s blog. Either way, there is a list at the end of this post to help you “hop” to all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. This month’s theme is HOLIDAY PACKAGING/GIFT GIVING/DECORATIONS types of projects, and I’m really excited about the HUGE tutorial that you can buy as an instant download in my Made to Create store! For today’s blog post, I made a project that I’ve made in the past, but I updated it using current product. This is such a FUN home décor piece that you can enjoy all season long! I bought a 4-pack of round Kleenex boxes from Target, and made one of them fancy with Designer Series Paper, die cuts, and twine! LOVE!!

I started out by choosing one of the prints from the Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper that I thought would be perfect. I measured the height of the Kleenex box, wrapped it around so I would know how long I need, and cut it. Then, I used Tear & Tape adhesive to adhere it nice and tight. Next, I die cut out a tag from my Basic White cardstock, using the Patterned Tags dies. I also used my Gold Foil paper to die cut out a bow from this same die pack, and I adhered it to the top of the tag.

I stamped the sentiment on the bottom using my Black Memento ink pad, choosing to only stamp part of one of the sentiments from the Modern Christmas stamp set. Then, I hand cut out several ornaments from the Designer Series Paper pack, and arranged them onto the tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

After sticking the finished tag onto my Kleenex box with Stampin’ Dimensionals, I finished it off using some of my Black & Gold twine. It was the perfect touch! PLEASE CLICK HERE to see another design I made awhile ago, which is a brighter, more “fun” look!
