This project is perfect for a quick gift! It doesn’t take long to pull it together, and the end result is truly stunning. It looks like you worked really hard to make a lovely gift, when, in reality, it only took a few minutes!
I chose the Moody Mauve bag for this project. It has a plaid design printed on the bag in Moody Mauve, so I pulled out my matching Moody Mauve cardstock and made a belly band for the bag. This band measures 2″ x 11″. I wrapped it around the bag, without pulling to too tight. I wanted to make sure there would be a little “give” in the bag to accommodate some candy!

Next, I layered on a piece of the gorgeous All About Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP), which looks absolutely phenomenal! I chose a print that was full of Mauve tones, and I love the way it looks on this belly band.
I used the coordinating Autumn Leaves dies to cut out several different leaves, all from the All About Autumn DSP. I love the foil accents on this paper! It gives a beautiful shine and warmth to the project. I also cut a few leaves out of the More Dazzle DSP, which looks exactly as it sounds–full of dazzle!
I stamped the sentiment on a tag that was also cut from the Autumn Leaves die set, using Moody Mauve ink. I absolutely LOVE that Stampin’ Up’s products all MATCH!! I know that if I use the ink pad, cardstock, and embellishments, they will all go perfectly together!
The final touch was a simple bow, using the Gold & Vanilla 3/8″ Satin Edged Ribbon. It’s such a beautiful ribbon, that a simple bow is all it needed!
