Painted Pumpkins Paper Scrap Card

Welcome to another Fall card using the darling Painted Patch product suite! This is the card I featured on The Great North American Stampin’ Show this week, Season 10 Episode 2. Our challenge was to create something using paper scraps, so I went to town using the coordinating Designer Series Paper (DSP) for this darling card.

The card base is made from Pool Party cardstock, measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″ and folded in half. Layered on top of that is a piece of Basic White cardstock, measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″. And finally, you’ll need 8 squares of DSP, in all different (but coordinating) prints, measuring 1-1/4″ x 1-1/4″. How easy is that??

The focal point measures a little differently, of course. The Basic White piece measures 2-1/4″ x 2-1/4″, and it’s layered onto a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock that measures 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″.

I stamped the sentiments using Secret Sea ink, added some die cut swirls and leaves, and finished it off with the cute Painted Patch Dots that coordinate with this entire suite.

Can you see the tattered Calypso Coral ribbon that I knotted and put onto one of the pumpkins?? I sliced the ribbon up the middle, and frayed it out and it looks SO cool! I absolutely love it!
