Today I celebrated the 4th anniversary of offering FREE bi-monthly card classes to my local seniors! I started offering these classes 4 years ago in September, and of course, it’s the time to make cards for Autumn and Fall. What could be better??
I always use as much retired product as I can for these classes, and I have so many beautiful, retired products, it’s never a problem to make gorgeous cards! This month, I pulled out several old Designer Series Papers that have “fall” written all over them. I love what I came up with!
In addition to these 3 card designs, I also pulled out 2 past Paper Pumpkin kits so that everyone can make a total of 4 cards. I always prepare enough packets for 16 people, and we fill the class every time! We have a wonderful time of laughing, stamping, and visiting.
I always make designs that are easy, and I prepare as much beforehand as I possibly can. It’s hard for several of the ladies to tie knots, bows, or stamp straight. So the designs are easy yet beautiful, so that everyone goes home happy and full.
I encourage you to look for a senior group in your area so that you can offer free classes, as well! It is a blessing both to give AND receive!

Thanks, Regina! It’s amazing how you can just use some pretty paper and your card looks amazing!! The sunflower card was my favorite because adding just a touch of embossing folder really made this card stand out. Love it!
