I LOVE today’s project! This card turned out so cute, and I used one of my favorite die sets: Alphabet a la Mode. Alphabet die sets are so versatile, because you can make your card say whatever you want it to say! You can also use them on home décor projects, making them even better.

I started off with a Pool Party card base, measuring 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and folded in half. Layered on top of that is a piece of Real Red cardstock, measuring 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″. And finally, layered on top of that is a piece of Basic White cardstock, measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″, which I put through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine using the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. I *LOVE* this folder!! It adds so much texture and fun to the card!
Next, I die cut out the letters HO HO HO from Real Red cardstock, using the Alphabet a la Mode dies. I glued these down using Liquid Glue, centering them on the card front. For the middle “O,” I replaced it with one of the little reindeer from the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack, which is just sooooo cute! I hand cut him out of the DSP, and then I popped him up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I also added a little bow around his neck, using the Real Red & White Baker’s Twine (another favorite of mine this year!).
The final touch, of course, was adding a few of the Peppermint Gems, which are absolutely my favorite embellishment of all time! They really added the perfect touch to my card.
The inside of the card was stamped with a greeting from the Reindeer Fun stamp set, using Real Red ink, and voila! The card was finished! I hope you love it as much as I do!
