I love making my own home décor using my Stampin’ Up! products! We have such beautiful papers, ribbons, embellishments, and colors that really make it so much fun to upcycle and change things to match your own home colors, tastes, and look.
For today’s project, I used 3 different pumpkins from the Dollar Tree. I didn’t care for the look of these pumpkins the way they came home from the store, so it was time to pull out my Autumn Leaves products suite and get to work!
PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this craft. It took about 30-45 minutes to finish everything, which really wasn’t bad, considering how gorgeous they turned out!
For this craft, I used the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP), the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack, the Natural Wavy Trim Ribbon, the Tailored Tags dies, and Copper Clay ink.
From the Dollar Tree, I used the wooden pumpkins as my base, as well as some twine and Spanish Moss. I also used Waverly Chalk Paint from Walmart, in the color Ivory, as well as Mod Podge.
I won’t go into step-by-step written instructions here, because it’s easier for you to watch the video if you have questions! But it’s so nice to see close-up pictures, as well as have a written list of everything I used.
After using my Hot Glue Gun to apply the Spanish Moss to the top of the pumpkins, I loved fraying my Natural Ribbon and tying it onto the pumpkin stem. Honestly, I love everything about how these cuties turned out!
I hope this will inspire you to try upcycling some Dollar Tree items of your own!
