The Zany Zoo stamp set is adorable…and did you know that the entire suite is perfect for gift-giving? Here is an adorable example!
This darling gift box is a perfect way to give a stack of homemade and hand-stamped cards! The size of this box is perfect for our Notecards & Envelopes, and I put 5 cards and envelopes inside of this box here. I think you could easily fit 7 or 8, but I just put 5 in my example here.
The Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper (DSP) is used for the box top, and then I used our Basic Black cardstock for the bottom. The cardstock gives the box a nice, firm bottom with a decorative lid.
I used only the Black Memento ink pad for all of the images in this card assortment, and then colored in various parts of the images using my Stampin’ Blends markers (my favorite coloring tool!). You can see that I left a lot of the images black & white, while only coloring accents in each card. Isn’t that a cool look?
The bow on the card box is made from the Lemon Lime Twist in the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack, and I made a “double bow” to make it look a little more full. I adhered it on with a Mini Glue Dot, and then the box was finished!
I’d like to give credit to Julie DiMatteo for this box pattern. She created the pattern that I used, and it is just perfect! Click here to go to her Blog for instructions to make the box.
I hope you’ll give this gift a try! I’m excited to give it away to just the perfect person. Let me know if you decide to make a set!
