I know I keep featuring the Winterly Tree Tops bundle, but it’s such a great one! I demonstrated this bundle of products at a demonstrator-only virtual event this summer, so I have several projects to share that have been waiting and ready for you!
This card was a fun, and actually really easy, card to create. The large greenery “window” die, the one that makes the pine bough cutouts around the edge, is just one, large die! You can layer anything you want behind it, like I did here, and there are so many different things you could do with it.
PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card. It was a fun one!
For today’s card, I used a Garden Green card base, measuring 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and folded in half. Then, I cut a postcard-sized piece of Garden Green, measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″. I ran this piece through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine, using the large pine bough die, to create this “window” piece.
Next, I chose the birch-printed design from the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack, and layered this behind my window. I cut it just a tiny bit smaller than the Garden Green piece, so that it wouldn’t stick out of the edges.
The tag was made from a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock, and die cut out with the Something Fancy dies (the middle size tag). Using my Versamark ink pad, I stamped the sentiment, sprinkled on some of the White WOW Embossing Powder, and embossed it with my heat tool.
I hand-cut out the bird from the DSP, and layered the bird, and the tag, onto the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The final touch was my 2-toned bow. I used the Garden Green twine from the matching Twine bundle, mixed with our Linen Thread. I tied these into a bow, and then stuck it on with a Mini Glue Dot.
What do you think?? I hope you love it!
