Stampin’ Up!’s in-house artists are soooo talented! I absolutely LOVE that they draw, paint, and design all of our beautiful Designer Series Papers (DSP) themselves. The designs we carry are like none other! And, the paper pack I’m featuring today is one of those that you could literally frame on their own. They are just, plain GORGEOUS designs!
The Thoughtful Journey paper pack can be found online, and you’ll definitely want to grab yourself a pack (or 2, like I did!). The scenery pieces are perfect for the card design that I made today, and I hope you love it!

The card base is made from Mossy Meadow cardstock, measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and folded in half. Layered on top of this is a piece of Basic White cardstock, which is 4″ x 5-1/4″.
On top of the Basic White layer are my “window panes.” The Petunia Pop background layers are each 3-7/8″ x 1-5/8″, and there are 3 of these. On top of these, I chose one of the scenes in the Thoughtful Journey DSP pack, and cut up the scene. When you do this, it makes it look like you’re gazing through a window! It looks really cool! Each of these strips measures 1-1/2″ x 3-3/4″.
After adhering all of these together, and layering them on top of the Basic White panel, all I did was stamp a sentiment from the Unbounded Love stamp set, using Mossy Meadow ink. I bannered the right-hand side, and layered it onto the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I finished it off with a cute bow made from the Petunia Pop 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon, which I adhered with a Mini Glue Dot, and then I sprinkled on some of the beautiful Adhesive-Backed Pearl Trios. They look perfect with the Petunia Pop!
I hope you love this card layout! PLEASE CLICK HERE to check out another card I made using this same layout. You can see how easy and fun it is to create “scenes” like this with different papers!

That card is stunning. I wonder where the sentiment comes from. Thank you

Thank you so much, Bette! The sentiment is from the Unbounded Love stamp set, item 163378 on my website! There are direct links to the items at the end of the blog post. Hope that helps! It’s an amazing sentiment set!

Lisa, love this card! Quick question, what would you put inside? Maybe white cardstock with something (a tree, maybe) printed in mossy meadow?? I struggle with inside ideas
Lisa Bowden says
Great question! I was going to put some white cardstock, and then use a strip of the DSP (the opposite side that isn’t printed with the trees) along either the bottom or the side. If you wanted, you could grab an image from a stamp set to add, like maybe a butterfly, or some evergreen trees to match the front? Or even a flower! Have fun with it! 🙂
