Splash & Relax Summertime Fun Card

I LOVE the sunshine, and I’m ready for summer! The new Splash & Relax stamp set, along with the coordinating dies, are SO CUTE. I was excited to use this bundle in this week’s Great North American Stampin’ Show, Season 8, Episode 5.

I started out with a Basic White card base, measuring 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and folded in half. Layered onto that is a piece of the new Hydrangea Hue cardstock, measuring 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″. And finally, one of the new In Color Patterns Designer Series Paper (DSP) is layered onto that, measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″. Isn’t this polka dotted print CUTE???

I stamped some of the innertubes onto a piece of Basic White cardstock, which measured 2-3/4″ x 3-1/4″, using Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green inks. Then, I die cut out several of the images from the die set: Sunscreen lotion bottle (Flirty Flamingo & Strawberry Slush cardstocks), Drink (Pool Party & Coastal Cabana cardstocks), and the Sunglasses (Crisp Cantaloupe & Lunar Lustre cardstocks). I added these to the focal point on the card front, and it looks so sunshiney and fun!

I added the sentiment using Strawberry Slush ink, and finally I sprinkled on some of our new gems for the finishing touch. Are you ready to go dive in a pool right about now?! LOL
