I love making little candy holders for my monthly Card Club members, and this month’s is so bright and cheery! Every month I include a little, simple goodie in their packet, so it was fun to pull out the supplies that everyone is getting in this month’s kit and make a little candy holder with them.
I found these Hershey Kiss packets during the Easter season a few weeks ago, and I knew they would make perfect candy gifts! So I grabbed a huge stack, and now I’m ready to go!

No matter what size of candy you end up choosing to use, this same concept could be altered and used to make favors or gifts. For this particular candy, I ended up using a 4.25″ x 6″ piece of the Brights 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper, and I chose the adorable Daffodil Delight polka dot print. It’s one of my favorite prints in the entire pack! I wrapped this piece around the tube of candy, and adhered it closed with a strip of my favorite strong adhesive, our Tear & Tape adhesive. It’s so easy to use, and it holds SO strongly!
Next, I tied a piece of the beautiful 3/4″ Herringbone Ribbon around the candy, and I even tied a knot at each end of the ribbon. Doesn’t that make it look cute? I thought it added a little “something!”
I used the Modern Oval Punch to punch out an oval from Basic White cardstock, and stamped the “bubbles” from the Simply Sparkling stamp set onto the oval using Daffodil Delight ink. Then, I stamped “BEST EVER” on top, using Black Memento ink. Finally, I punched a 1/4″ hole in the tag, and tied the tag onto the candy using a piece of Lemon Lime Twist Twine from the 2022-24 In Color Baker’s Twine Pack. It added the perfect touch!
Several of these items are retiring in just a few, short weeks, so grab them while you can! So many things have already sold out on the retiring list, so hop over to my website ASAP and get yourself a package of this fantastic DSP and twine, for sure!
