Can you believe that Fall is right around the corner? Tomorrow is the beginning of August, and I just don’t know where Summer has gone! Summer is my favorite time of year, but I also love working with the Fall color scheme when it comes to home décor and crafting. Therefore, I felt it was time to pull out a Fall-themed card!
To make this card, I used the Cheerful Daisies stamp set, along with the coordinating Designer Series Paper (DSP) called Fresh as a Daisy. There is a page in this paper pack that has many different little pre-printed “card panels,” and they are perfect to cut out and dress up, making a card in a snap!

The panel I used for this card reminds me of my Black-Eyed Susans, which currently fill my yard! They are such a beautiful flower, and I let them run rampant. I love that they re-seed themselves, so they are slowly filling up a corner in my yard, more and more each year.
After cutting out this panel, which features one of our new In Colors called Wild Wheat, I mounted that onto Basic White cardstock, and then onto my card base made of Early Espresso.
Next, I pulled out two of our gorgeous ribbon selections, both of which scream “FALL”! One is brand new in our catalog, called the Natural Wavy Trim, and the other is our Silver-Threaded Twine. I love that the twine can be pulled apart to make a completely different look, and the added sparkle of silver gives a perfect touch to the card without using any sort of gems!
For the sentiment, I stamped with the Wild Wheat ink, and punched it out using our Double Oval punch. This punch is one of my favorites to use with sentiments, because it layers up so nicely!
After stamping and decorating the inside panel, I pulled the card together and it was finished! It was so easy to make, and I just can’t tell you how much I love this DSP for quick and beautiful cards. I hope you’ll grab yourself a pack and try it yourself!
To convince you even further, here’s the link to another beautiful card I made using the Cheerful Daisies stamp set and matching dies. You’ll love it!
