My First Scrapbook Page!

It’s true…I have committed to make my very first scrapbook, using my photos from my very first incentive trip that I earned with Stampin’ Up! this year! Yippee!! This is a stretch and a challenge for me, as I have not scrapbooked before. Will you join me along this journey?

For today’s page layout, I used the inspiration from Layout #6 from page 28 of Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog. It has 3 photos, a banner, some journaling, and some Designer Series Paper (DSP). Let’s go!

I pulled out a brand new scrapbooking kit to help me with this assignment, because I knew that it would be difficult to come up with a layout all on my own. These layouts are SO helpful! I basically copied the layout exactly from the instructions in the kit, and I think it turned out really nice! Obviously, I need to add photos to my page. But still…I think it will be great! Once I made this page using this layout, I printed out some of my photos from my trip to Orlando, Florida and made an “actual” page. One of the pillow gifts that we received on the trip was some exclusive DSP, so I pulled that out and copied this same layout. It worked GREAT to use this layout, and I’m so happy with how it turned out!

I think that the nicest thing about this page is that it was SO EASY!!! All I did was trim down a few of the photos, cut some paper, and did a little bit of journaling!

I hope this gives you inspiration that maybe will help you also dive into some memory keeping? I love how easy our kit was to use…I will definitely be using more kits in the future!
