Season 6, Episode 6 of the Great North American Stampin’ Show aired today, and as always, it is such a good one!! We were challenged to make a project inspired from page 49 of Stampin’ Up!’s Holiday Mini Catalog, and I love what I ended up making.
Don’t forget–I’m putting out a “LAST CALL” for registration for the first GNASS Christmas Retreat in a Box! The projects are so awesome, I’m thrilled to present this retreat to you. PLEASE CLICK HERE to hop over to my store to purchase. You can buy the Retreat in a Box kit (which I highly recommend!), the Tutorial Only option, or the “I Want it ALL!!” option, if you don’t have the stamp sets and dies yet!

Today’s card uses the Jolly Delivery bundle, but specifically centers on the darling Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. I love this pack of paper, because it also includes 2 huge sheets of full-color die cut images that are ADORABLE!!!
This slimline card is made out of Real Red cardstock, and measures 6-1/2″ x 7″. Folded in half, the card measures 3-1/2″ x 6-1/2″. I added a layer of Basic White cardstock to the front, measuring 6-1/4″ x 3-1/4, as well as a piece on the inside of the card that measures a little bit smaller, at 3″ x 6″.

Layered onto the Basic White cardstock are 3 strips of the DSP. 2 of the strips are the Balmy Blue print to look like “snow,” and I ripped the top edge and layered them onto the card. These measure 1-1/4″ x 6-1/4″ before being ripped. The top piece is a strip directly trimmed out of the DSP, which looks like a little village in the background. So cute!
After putting together the little village scene, I popped out various little animals from the DSP, and added them to the card front! Some are glued directly to the card, and some are popped up with Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment with Real Red ink and bannered both edges of the 1/2″ strip of cardstock, and added this to the card front. I also sprinkled on a few of the Dear Dots to look like snowflakes, as well as a tiny little twine bow on the fox’s neck. The entire scene makes me smile!
I hope you love this inspiration! I truly love how this card turned out.
