Today we aired Season 6, Episode 5 of the Great North American Stampin’ Show! We are having SO much fun! If you have missed any episodes, drop on by and spend some time with us over on YouTube. You can re-watch any of the videos at any time.
Today’s challenge was to create a project that was inspired from page 58 of Stampin’ Up!’s Holiday Mini Catalog, and the designs were great to work with! I LOVE using my catalogs for creative inspiration. You can get so many ideas to run with!
PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I created this card. It’s so much fun!

I used the Homemade Treats stamp set and dies to make this card, along with the Christmas Tags & More Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. This stamp set is soooo adorable…I wasn’t quite sure what I would use it for when I bought it, but it was sooo cute, I just “had” to have it!! LOL!!
The card base is Garden Green cardstock, measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″ and folded in half. Layered onto that is a piece of Basic White that measures 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″, and a piece of the plaid DSP, which measures 4″ x 5-1/4″. Doesn’t this look sooo Christmassy so far?? *swoon*

I used the largest Stylish Shapes circle die as my “wreath.” I heat embossed the sentiment right in the middle of the circle, using my Versamark stamp pad, the White WOW Embossing Powder, and my heat tool. Next, I stamped lots and lots of those little gingerbread men and candy canes, using Crumb Cake and Real Red ink pads, and die cut them out with the matching dies. I glued them all around the outside of the circle, and then popped up the candy canes with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. I’m gonna keep telling you how much I LOVE this cute card!!

I added a Real Red Satin bow, as well as a mini Linen Thread bow, which I felt tied in the “neutral” colors of the gingerbread men. And I sprinkled on the Delightful Decorative Dots, for my finishing touch. What do you think???
