Today’s project was created to air on Episode 5 of the Great North American Stampin’ Show! Our challenge this week was to make a project inspired from the layouts on page 58 of Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog, and I chose the project pictured in the upper-left featuring a framed image.
I copied the layout quite literally, and I love how it turned out! I hope you do, too. PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this project.

The card base is made from Cloud Cover cardstock, measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and folded in half. Layered on top of this is a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock that was run through the gorgeous new Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder, measuring 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″. Isn’t it FABULOUS???
Next, I die cut out a frame from Cloud Cover cardstock, using the Gallery Blooms dies. The frame die in there is amazing and SO versatile! I stamped on it using Cloud Cover ink, to create a subtle, tone-on-tone look, using one of the floral stamps from the Gallery Blooms stamp set.

I stamped the same floral image, using Misty Moonlight ink, onto Basic White cardstock, and colored it in with my Stampin’ Blends alcohol-based markers (Lemon Lolly, Misty Moonlight, Cloud Cover, and Mossy Meadow). Then I die cut it out with the coordinating die.

Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment onto a label that I die cut out from the Mixed Labels dies, using the Gold WOW Embossing Powder. I love how the gold adds the perfect, elegant touch to this card! And I added a Gold Striped ribbon bow, as well as some of the gorgeous gems (linked below).
Didn’t it turn out beautifully? And, I think it copies the main inspiration page perfectly! I love this project, and I hope you do, too!
