Cheers & Sips Square Fold Card

OK…the new Cheers & Sips stamp set and Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack by Stampin’ Up! are SOOOOO cute for Summer!!! Can you tell how excited I am for the sunshine and warmer weather?? I love Summertime!

I created a cute card today that looks different than a “regular” layout, but it’s the same size as a normal card! It will fit into a normal envelope perfectly. PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card…you’re going to love it!

I started out with a Timid Tiger cardstock base, measuring 4-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ and scored in half at 4-1/4″. This creates a square card base. Layered on top of this is one of the cute pieces of DSP from the Celebratory Sips paper pack, and it’s full of color and FUN! This piece measures 4″ x 4″.

The little square on top measures 3″ x 3″, and layered on top of that is the 2nd largest Stylish Shapes die (square), cut out of Basic White cardstock. I hand-cut out a few of the drink images directly from the DSP, and layered them onto this square. I love how it’s coming together!

The sentiment was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock that measures 1″ x 1-3/4″. The Timid Tiger cardstock piece behind it measures 1-1/4″ x 2″. I added this to the card front after I wrapped a piece of ribbon around it, tying a bow off to the side. This ribbon goes with the product suite, and I love how it adds a bit of glitz and glam to the card!

The final touch was a few of the Holographic Dots that also go with the product suite, and I think that they added the PERFECT finishing touch.

On the inside of the card, the piece of Basic White measures 4″ x 4″. I did some “graduating stamping,” only inking my stamp a couple of times. I really love the effect of how this looks! Please watch the video to see how this is done.
