I am really enjoying making Christmas cards, even though I’m still in denial that it’s Fall! Ha ha ha! Are there any of you out there who feel the same? It’s fun to start pulling out the festive colors, images, and “feels” of the holidays, even if I’m not ready to start decorating, shopping, or baking!
These products all go so well together, so I keep crafting with them together, as if they are one giant suite. It’s the Beary Cute stamp set (and matching punch!) and the “A Walk in the Forest” Designer Series Paper (DSP). They are so fun to mix and match together!
This card is all different shades of GREEN. And it all looks so good together! It astounds me! What do you think…are you loving this vibe?

This is an off-center Gatefold Card, which is a super easy, yet really fun, Fun Fold. I started with a Garden Green card base, and then built it up with a layer of Basic White cardstock, then layers of the DSP. I chose 2 different patterns of the DSP that blended well together, since you see both designs on the front of the card right next to each other.
For my focal point, I added a circle of Old Olive, which I die cut out using the awesome Stylish Shapes dies (yes, I keep telling you that it’s one of my favorites!). Then I layered a Basic White circle on top of that, which I put through the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder. What a gorgeous touch!! That folder is amazing!
Next, I stamped the tree from the Beary Cute stamp set onto Basic White cardstock, using Pretty Peacock ink. Then I cut it out by hand, and layered it onto the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The bear was punched out directly from the DSP, using the adorable Beary Cute punch. I think it’s so cool when Stampin’ Up! makes our punches so that they directly match our DSP!
The sentiment was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink, and it’s also from the Beary Cute stamp set. I cut the words out separately, and layered them at an angle onto the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
My final touches included adding a little bit of ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack, and sprinkling on a few of the sparkly Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins. These truly are some of my favorite embellishments! They are completely flat, so they don’t add any bulk to the card whatsoever.
For the inside of the card, I stamped the little tree again onto Basic White cardstock, and added it to the center so that the card can be signed. What a perfect touch, so that the inside ties in with the outside of the card.
What do you think? I hope you give this Off-Center Gatefold Card a try! Here are the measurements:
