Painted Pumpkins Notebook Holder

It’s TIME!! The Great North American Stampin’ Show, Season 10, Episode 1 aired today! Yahoo!! We were challenged to make a project using any product from our NEW catalog, and I chose to go with FALL!! I absolutely love this new suite, and I’m excited to share this project with you.

I used the gorgeous, new Painted Patch suite to make this notebook cover. I LOVE how it turned out! PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this project. I hope you love it!

The cover is made out of Pretty Peacock cardstock, measuring 8″ x 11″, and scored on the long side at 5-1/16″, 5-5/16″, and 10-3/8″. Layered onto the cover is a piece of Pool Party cardstock measuring 4-1/4” x 7-1/4”, and the Designer Series Paper on top measures 4″ x 7″. Don’t these colors look gorgeous together??

I stamped the pumpkins, using black ink, onto Basic White cardstock and used my Blending Brushes to color them in. I used an assortment of colors including Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, Cajun Craze, Golden Glow, Petal Pink, and Pecan Pie. It was lots of fun to experiment with the layering that I did with the masks! The masks that come with this suite are so amazing.

The pocket on the inside of the card measures 3″ x 8″, and I adhered this using Tear & Tape adhesive. I punched a little notch out of the edge using my 1-3/4″ circle punch, and then added it onto the inside of the cover.
