All Aflutter In Color Card

You’re gonna love this card, I’m telling you! I made this card for this week’s Great North American Stampin’ Show, and we were challenged to use the layouts from page 62 of the current Stampin’ Up! catalog. I used the layout on the top right, where they die cut out several shapes from the same die set, except used different colors and patterns. My card base is Basic White, 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Layered onto that is Hydrangea Hue cardstock, and I stamped the little dotted lines all over with Hydrangea Hue ink.

I die cut out 4 arches from the Everyday Arches die set, using the In Color Designer Series Paper pack. I LOVE how this turned out! I used the smallest die, the 2nd smallest, the 5th smallest, and the 7th smallest.

I stamped butterlies and punched them out with the matching punch, and arranged them all over the card front.

I love the flap that “closes” over the front of the card! I scored the die 1/4″ in from the edge, and attached that to the inside of the card. I love how it looks!

The finishing touches are the matching Hydrangea Hue ribbon and Dots embellishments. I love how the Crisp Cantaloupe coordinates so beautifully with the Hydrangea! These two colors together are fantastic!
