Made with Sweetness Candy Box

I’m not the best at 3D projects, but if I can figure out a layout that is quick and easy, without too many steps, then I’m all in! This little candy box is one that I made for all of my Great North American Stampin’ Show “Simply Sweet” Retreat in a Box pillow gifts, and I absolutely LOVE how they turned out! They make me smile!

I started with a 6″ x 6″ piece of the Made with Sweetness Designer Series Paper. I scored on one side at 2″, 2-3/4″, 4-3/4″, and 5-1/2″. Then I turned the paper, and scored on the next side at 1/2″, 1″, 5″, and 5-1/2″.

I glued one end closed, and put in my cute fruity candy that I bought from Amazon, and then sealed the other end closed.

Next, I die cut out the label from the Filled with Sweetness bundle, using Basic White cardstock. I also die cut out several blueberries using Blueberry Bushel cardstock. I added the “tops” to the blueberries, and then colored the little tops with Wink of Stella Glitter pen. It’s hard to see in the photos, but in person, that little touch really adds something special! After I stamped the sentiment onto the label using Strawberry Slush ink, I added the blueberries. I layered one of them on with Stampin’ Dimensionals, just to give it a little added texture and interest.

I punched out 2 holes in the top of the box using an awesome handheld punch that I buy from Amazon. PLEASE CLICK HERE if you’d like to hop over to my Amazon affiliate shop to grab this punch! It’s so great, because you can choose the size that you want! I tied the ribbon through the holes, adding a bow, and then tied on my tag using some white twine.
