Welcome to the card I created for Season 6, Episode 10 of the Great North American Stampin’ Show! This week, we created projects inspired from pages 24-25 from the Stampin’ Up! holiday mini catalog, and I chose the card on the far left to recreate in my own style. What do you think?

I started with a Basic White cardstock base, measuring 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and folded in half. I layered a piece of Petal Pink cardstock on top, which I had embossed using the Jolly Holly Embossing Folder. I decided to use non-traditional colors for this Christmas card…what do you think about it? Do you like pink and red together?
I used the Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack for the focal point, and this measures 2-3/4″ x 3-1/4″. I punched out the jar punch from the middle, and then created a shaker element using the Adhesive Foam Strips and the Loose Shaker Elements. These babies are on clearance right now, so go and grab some while you can! They’re a great deal!
I added some of the Petal Pink Braided Trim to the top of the jar, after I had picked it apart. I think it looks so cool this way! I added it using Mini Glue Dots, my favorite adhesive to use for ribbons.
The sentiments (both inside and out) are stamped with Real Red and Petal Pink ink pads, and the card is finished! I hope this gives you a fun, fresh idea for your holiday card creations!
