I made some of the cutest little desk calendars today, and I’m going to be giving them as little gifts for those who are attending my virtual Floral Delight Stamp Camp next weekend! I absolutely love how they turned out!

PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made these, so that you can see exactly how the base is folded into the accordion fold and adhered closed.
The base of the calendar is a piece of Pool Party cardstock. This piece measures 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, and is scored on the long side at 1/2″, 3-1/2″, 6-1/2″, and 7-1/2″. After folding it sort-of like an accordion (please see video), I glued the ends together using Tear & Tape adhesive. I love this adhesive for any 3D types of projects because it holds so strongly!
Layered on top of the base is a piece of Lemon Lolly cardstock, measuring 5-3/8″ x 2-7/8″. And finally, layered on top of that, is a piece of the gorgeous Floral & Gingham Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP), and this measures 5-1/4″ x 2-3/4″. There are 3 different designs in this pack of vellum, and I love them all! I put my Stampin’ Seal adhesive only on the areas where there were either flowers or leaves printed, in order to minimize the amount of adhesive that you would see through once it was stuck onto the cardstock. It worked really well!

For the sentiment, I stamped the “Enjoy Today” from the Labeled with Love stamp set, using Old Olive ink. I punched it out using the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch, and then layered it onto a 2″ Pool Party Circle. I attached this to the calendar base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I designed these little tear-off calendars myself on my computer, but I know they can be purchased online. I adhered my calendar to the base using Stampin’ Seal, and then I wanted to cover up where I have the staple. So, I die cut out the large flower from the Delightful Wishes Dies, using Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lolly cardstock. Finally, I added some leaves that I punched out, using the Bough Punch and Old Olive cardstock. I adhered this on using a strip of the Foam Adhesive strips, which worked wonderfully!
I hope you love this project…I’m thrilled with how they turned out!
