I keep using the Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP) to make adorable cards…and I have discovered that it’s perfect not only for Christmas, but also for wintery cards in general! Do you send “thank you” cards after Christmas to your loved ones? I sure hope you do! Nothing makes someone feel better than receiving a hand-written card in the mail, thanking them for the precious gift you received from them during the holidays. It makes all of the shopping worth it!
This card is one of the easiest card layouts EVER! So, it’s a perfect design to whip out a stack, so that you’ll be ready to pop one in the mail right after the holidays.

This card base is Basic White cardstock, measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and folded in half. Layered on top of that is a piece of Night of Navy cardstock, measuring 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″. Finally, layered onto that is the polar bear ice scene that I cut directly from the DSP, and that piece measures 4″ x 5-1/4″.
All I did to finish up this card was stamp a sentiment from the Beary Cute stamp set, using Night of Navy ink on Basic White cardstock. I punched it out with the scalloped oval portion of the Double Oval Punch. This punch is fantastic! It is so versatile and works with so many different card designs.
I cut myself two little 1″ pieces of the gorgeous Balmy Blue Sparkle Ribbon, which is retiring! I added this beneath the scalloped punch, and then layered the sentiment onto the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The final touch was sprinkling on a few of the gorgeous Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs, just for a little bit of shine.
I hope you’ll plan to make a few thank you cards to send after Christmas! I promise–they will be a sweet surprise for those who receive them!
