Who doesn’t love a big, frosty milkshake for a birthday treat? The Share a Milkshake stamp set, along with the coordinating dies, are completely adorable and perfect for a birthday card for a loved one. I was excited to create with a blue color palette, adding a splash of pink for the perfect accent!
I used the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper (DSP) for this card, because there is a print in the pack that is playful and cute. Perfect for a birthday card! Some of the other prints in this paper pack are more “serious,” but this one fit the bill perfectly.
This is a 2-step stamp set, which means that you can layer the stamps to fill in the entire image. First, I stamped the background of the milkshake glass with Boho Blue ink, and then stamped the accent on top with Night of Navy. Isn’t it cool how it makes the finished glass look?

Next, I stamped the ice cream with Bubble Bath ink. I absolutely love this color of pink! And, when I cut out the image with the coordinating dies, can you see that it also automatically cuts out a little slit so that the straw can slip through? How absolutely adorable is that?!
The straw is stamped with Lemon Lime Twist, which was a perfect accent color for this color palette. I love how it stands out!
I used the little, thin banner die from the Stylish Shapes die set to cut out the sentiment. I cut off the left-hand edge before adhering it to my card front, which worked perfectly.
The final touch was coloring the ice cream with the Wink of Stella glitter pen, which is so addicting! Pretty soon, everything in my craft room will be colored with my Wink of Stella! Ha ha! It’s hard to see in the photograph, but in person, it just looks awesome and sparkly. I love that pen!
Layering on this focal image to my card base looked amazing with the polka dot background from the Basics 3D Embossing Folder set. One of my most favorite embossing folders EVER! It was the perfect touch to finish off the card. What do you think? I hope you love it!
