I started out creating this card using the Trusty Tools stamp set, coordinating dies, and the Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper (DSP). The Trusty Toolbox DSP is one of the freebies that you can earn during Sale-A-Bration 2024! With every $50 USD in purchases, you can choose one of the fantastic products from our SAB catalog for FREE. This DSP is one of those freebies that is available until the end of February!
The Basic White cardstock, which is the card base, measures 4-1/4″ x 11″, and it’s scored at 5-1/2″ and 8-1/4″ (on the long side). When folded on the score lines, it creates a really fun fold that is similar to an accordion. Now, let’s dress it up!
I used two pieces of the Poppy Parade screwdriver-printed DSP from the Trusty Toolbox paper pack. These pieces measure 4″ x 5-1/4″, and 4″ x 2-1/2″. Because this print is directional, be sure to cut your paper so that the screwdrivers face in the direction you want them to. The center portion of the card is a piece of Smoky Slate cardstock, which measures 4″ x 2-1/4″. It matches the tools perfectly!
The circle medallion was created from the Deckled Circle dies, and I used the 7th from the smallest circle. I love this die set, because there are SO many sizes to choose from! It’s definitely a staple in my die collection.
I used the coordinating Trusty Tools dies, as well as hand-cut out, some of the tools from the DSP. I layered these onto the Deckled Circle die at different angles, as you can see in the photo. I adhered the hammer and the measuring tape on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set with Poppy Parade ink, and then hand-cut out the sentiment, cutting off a few of the words. It worked perfectly! Then I adhered this onto the medallion, also using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The final touch on this card is the cool new Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds, which are fresh in our Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog. They added the perfect touch to this masculine card!
