I just got finished hosting a virtual/online Stamp Camp this past weekend, and we featured the Delightful Wishes stamp set, patterned papers, and dies! This product suite is SO pretty, and it has been so much fun to create with!
For one of the challenges during the Stamp Camp, we were supposed to create a card that was inspired by a Dutch painting of a field of flowers. I decided to use the featured stamp set and papers, and came up with this card! What do you think?

You know I love SIMPLE card designs. I’m not one of those who goes WAY out of her way to make a difficult card layout. So, this layout suited me perfectly! I basically used this same color scheme the entire weekend, and I love it because it tells me that Spring *WILL* be coming…hopefully soon! The sunny, bright yellows are giving me hope!
I started off with a Basic White cardstock base, measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″ and folded in half. Layered on top of that is another piece of Basic White, measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″, which I embossed with the 3D Eyelet Embossing Folder. Don’t you love the texture that this folder gives to the card?

Layered on top of the embossed piece is the focal point of the card. We have a piece of Old Olive cardstock, measuring 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″, and covering it is 4 little strips of the Designer Series Paper (DSP), all of which measure 11/16″ x 4-1/4″. I know that is a weird measurement, but trust me, it turns out perfectly aligned when cut at this measurement!
When I made this card, I used a fun little tip to make it, using Glad Press & Seal from my kitchen. Have you tried this technique before? PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card, so that you can see this awesome tip!

I die cut the word “wishing” from Old Olive and Basic White cardstocks, and layered them onto the card using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the rest of the sentiment onto the little banner that is one of the die cuts from the set, using Old Olive ink, but I used a neat tip that made the banner shorter than it’s supposed to be! Please watch the video to see how I did this!
Finally, I added a Daffodil Delight bow and one of the darling Tiny Bee Trinkets, using Mini Glue Dots. These added the perfect touch!
I hope this card brought you some sunshine today!
