Thank You cards have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mom believed strongly in sending Thank You cards for everything, so she taught us kids to do it, too. Christmas and birthday gifts, outings, everything. And then, I became a big card-sender in general. Thinking of You became my favorite style of card to send, because I could send it for no reason at all. Just because I wanted to.
Card-sending has become such a looked-over thing nowadays, and it is very rare that I ever receive a Thank You card in the mail for anything. But when I do, WOW. It makes such a huge impact!! It touches my heart and makes me feel like that person was really blessed by whatever it was that I did for them.
I make Thank You cards all the time, and try to send them out as often as possible. So here I am, once again, making a quick and simple Thank You card to get in the mail. If you find a design that is QUICK, it makes it much more possible that you’ll actually get it made and mailed.

PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card. It’s a great, easy layout that you could use for lots of different backgrounds.
I started out with a Berry Burst cardstock base, measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and folded in half. Next, I layered on a piece of Boho Blue cardstock, measuring 3-3/4″ x 5-1/2″, centered onto the card front.
Using Black Memento ink, I stamped one of the flower images from the Wildflower Designs stamp set randomly onto a piece of Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP), and I really love how it looks on this polka-dotted print. Playful and colorful, right?? I love it. This piece of DSP measures 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, and is centered on top of the Boho Blue cardstock piece.

Using the Stylish Shapes dies (my FAVE!!!), I die cut one of the banner pieces using Basic White cardstock, and then stamped the sentiment onto it using Black Memento ink. Before attaching it to the card base, I added some of the In Color Jute Trim, which goes great with the Berry Burst cardstock, doesn’t it??
Finally, I sprinkled on the Iridescent Faceted Gems, to add a little sparkle. They were perfect for this card.

You’ve got to play with some of these great products!! It’s fun to see what cute stuff you can make with only a Black Memento stamp pad. I really love the way this card turned out!
