My Mini Goldendoodle dog, Taffy, wanted to make today’s card! I really feel that if SHE can do it, you can, too! This card is SO CUTE, and the darling scene on the card front involves no stamping at all!
PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch Taffy crafting in action. I promise, you don’t want to miss it!!

The card base is a classic Poppy Parade card, measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and folded in half. Layered on top of this is a piece of Basic White, measuring 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″. And finally, layered on top of that is the “scenic” piece that Taffy cut out directly from the Turtle-y Cute Designer Series Paper (DSP). This beach scene is SO CUTE!!

Layered onto this beach scene are all kinds of cute little images that Taffy hand-cut directly out of the DSP. There are SO many cute images in that paper pack, you can go crazy with the cards! Yes, it does take a little time to cut things out, but it’s SO worth it! I mean, really…just check out this card, and you can SEE how cute it is!
Most of the images were adhered directly to the card front using Liquid Glue, but the turtles themselves used Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Inside of the card, there is a piece of Basic White cardstock, measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″. Taffy added a little strip of DSP to decorate, and then stamped the sentiment from the Tags of Thanks stamp set, using Shaded Spruce ink.

Finally, Taffy insisted on adding a little bit of glitz…she wanted to use the Wink of Stella! She did a GREAT job!! It’s hard to see in the photos, but there are little, sparkly glittery accents all over the card front! LOVE!!

I hope this inspires you to grab a pack of this hilarious paper, and make some cute cards of your own!
