It’s Summertime…and that means veggie garden time!!! Yay!! My husband and I have a large vegetable garden every year, and it brings me so much joy. I do not enjoy weeding the garden, but I do enjoy planting and harvesting the goodies that it brings! So far, all I’ve gotten is lettuce and zuchinni, but I think that soon the cucumbers will be ready, as well.
Today’s project was featured on The Great North American Stampin’ Show, Season 5, Episode 8 on my YouTube channel! PLEASE CLICK HERE to hop over to watch it, as well as find the links for the other ladies’ videos. We’d love for you to watch and vote for your favorite project.

This card layout is just a normal card measurement: a piece of Basic Beige cardstock, 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, folded in half. Layered on top of this is a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock, measuring 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″, and run through the Damask Designs Embossing Folder. Finally, layered on top of that is a piece of the Storybook Moments Designer Series Paper (DSP), which measures 4″ x 5-1/4″.
I used the 5th from the smallest arch in the Everyday Arches die set to die cut out a “window” from the DSP, before adhering it to the Cherry Cobbler piece. I love how you can see the design from the embossing folder through the window!

The fun part of making this card was choosing the cute little animals to decorate the card. There are 2 sheets of pre-colored and pre-cut images that you can just pop out and use! How easy is that!! I also chose some flowers and the little white fence, and attached all of these using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finally, the sentiment was stamped from the Jolly Holly stamp set onto one of the little banners from the Beautiful Butterflies die set. I stamped it using Early Espresso ink, and attached it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a little Linen Thread bow, using a Mini Glue Dot, which added the perfect touch.

This is a cute layout that mimicked the layout on page 83 of Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog, and I was able to replicate all of the elements of the sample card! I really liked copying this layout–I think it would look really cute with LOTS of different papers and dies.
