I think I’m going back and forth here, creating BOTH Fall and Christmas projects right now!!! I can’t decide if I’m coming or going!! LOL
Today I made a beautiful card using the Peace on Earth stamp set, which is full of gorgeous shades of blue. Honestly, it’s not fully feeling “Christmas” vibes, in my opinion, and is perfect for any time of year. There are some wintery feels with the ice blues, but it truly lends itself to any time of the crafting year.
I do call this layout a Fun Fold, because it’s not a typical card layout. But really, it’s super easy and looks gorgeous!

I started off with a Cloud Cover card base, measuring 8″ x 4-1/4″, and scored at 2-1/2″. When you fold on the score line, it makes the “front” of the card a small little flap. Layered on top of this little flap is a piece of the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) measuring 2-1/4″ x 4″, and you can see the print that I chose to use. I love the Cloud Cover with the Night of Navy combo! Soooo pretty!
Next, you’ll layer a smaller piece of Cloud Cover cardstock on top of the front card flap. This piece measures 3″ x 4-1/4″. The piece of DSP that is layered onto this smaller piece measures 2-3/4″ x 4″.

I used the die from the matching die set for the label, which I die cut out of Cloud Cover cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment using the white WOW Embossing Powder. Isn’t it gorgeous? After die cutting out a few of the doves from the die set, also using Basic White cardstock, it added the perfect accent and finished off the card.

I loved adding on a couple of Rhinestone gems for a little sparkle, because I’ve always got to have a little sparkle! And, there is a sentiment stamped inside of the card using Night of Navy ink. Didn’t this card turn out beautifully?
