Have you checked out the new Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog yet? It’s time! There are so many great products in the new mini, and I am in love with so many of them!
This cute Ice Cream Swirl stamp set is one of the new sets that I “had” to have. And, the matching dies are awesome too, which you’ll see in today’s card.
PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card. You can see exactly how the ice cream cone die cuts out, which is really cool!
I started out with a piece of Basic White cardstock, measuring 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″. It is a small little card base, because the actual “folding” part of the card will stick up above this piece! This little piece is just for a base to adhere the ice cream cone onto. I stamped this base with Bubble Bath ink, randomly, using the cute sprinkle stamp from the stamp set.
Next, I cut out the ice cream cone from Crumb Cake cardstock, using the die from the matching die set. It makes the coolest waffle pattern into the cardstock, and it also gives a scoring line where you fold the cone in half! It’s so cool! I then adhered this cone, after I folded it, onto the card base. It helps if you adhere it right at the top.
I stamped the ice cream swirl stamp with Bubble Bath ink onto a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock, and cut it out with the matching die. I colored it in using the matching Bubble Bath Blends markers, and then added some Wink of Stella Glitter Pen on top. I love this glitter pen!! It adds sparkle, which (of course!!) adds fun, right?! I adhered this to the top of the cone.
I also stamped the little cherry with Sweet Sorbet ink onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock, colored it in with the Sweet Sorbet Blends, and then cut it out with the matching die. I also colored the stem of the cherry with the Deep Blends marker, for a nice, dark brown color. I adhered the little cherry onto the ice cream using Liquid Glue.
Finally, I stamped the “YUM” sentiment onto a tiny scrap of Basic White cardstock, trimmed it, and adhered it to the ice cream cone. I added a little Sweet Sorbet twine bow with a Mini Glue Dot, and it added the perfect touch! You can find the links to all of these products at the end of this post.
I hope you like this fun little card! It’s different, which is always fun! This stamp set is going to be a winner, and I’m definitely going to be playing with it more.
