I can’t resist this CUTE product suite by Stampin’ Up! It’s cheerful, colorful, and reminds me of Spring. On this dreary, rainy, winter day, I could use some bright and cheerful vibes!!
The Bee My Valentine stamp set has all of the adorable Bee images, plus some really cute sentiments that can be used for Valentine’s Day. I will definitely use this set well past the holiday, however, because the Bee itself is just so cute! And, when you add the matching punch and the adorable Bee Mine Designer Series Paper, it’s a winning combination!
I started out with a basic 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock, folded in half. I then layered on 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper. The top piece measures 4″ x 2-1/4″, and the bottom piece measures 4″ x 3″.
Next, I stretched a piece of the new Sweet Sorbet 1/4″ Bordered Ribbon across the front, trimmed the edges, and made a bow. PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card. You can see exactly how I did each step along the way!
I used the Stylish Shapes dies to cut out a circle for the focal point of the card (I used the 2nd to the largest circle here). I stamped the sentiment with Sweet Sorbet ink, which matches perfectly!
I stamped the Bee using Black Memento ink, Petal Pink ink, and Daffodil Delight ink. I punched out the Bee parts, adhered them together, and layered the Bee onto the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I LOVE how cute the little “trail” is when stamped behind the Bee, showing him flying! It adds such a perfect touch!
Finally, I sprinkled on a few of the adorable Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers. They are the best!! And, like I said before, they completely remind me of Spring! Yay!!
This card layout is so easy, yet isn’t it just the cutest?? I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
