Greenery Lane Easy Background Card

Looking for a quick and easy background? Stampin’ Up!’s Greenery Lane Washi Tape is the ticket! I love this Washi Tape…it is absolutely gorgeous. And, the fact that there is also a matching stamp set and dies makes it even BETTER!!

The background of this card was so easy to make, adding a strip of the washi tape directly to a piece of Basic White cardstock. PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card.

The card base is 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, folded in half, in Lost Lagoon cardstock. Isn’t this color lovely? It’s greenish bluish…sooooo pretty. The washi tape actually has so many different shades of green in it, making it so versatile to use.

I used a piece of Basic White cardstock to stick my strip of washi tape to, and this piece measures 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, which is the width of the washi tape. If needed, you can trim off your edges if you weren’t successful in sticking down the washi tape exactly.

I used the 1-7/8″ Circle Punch for the sentiment, and stamped it with Garden Green ink. The gorgeous die cut beneath the sentiment is from the Spotlight on Nature dies, which I highly recommend for beautiful sentiment layering pieces! There are so many different styles of circles to choose from in this die set!

I die cut some sprigs of leaves from both Garden Green and Vellum cardstocks, added them behind the sentiment, and sprinkled on a couple of the Pressed Flower Motif embellishments. The swirl of Linen Thread behind the sentiment is the perfect touch!

I highly recommend grabbing this washi tape…it is so versatile and beautiful!
