Fall is around the corner, and the gorgeous new All About Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP) by Stampin’ Up! has really hit the mark! I absolutely love it! One side of the paper features beautiful photography by our very own artists. The other side of the paper is full of coordinating colors, plus adds gorgeous foil accents that shimmer and shine in the light. Wow!
I made a fun fold card featuring one of the Moody Mauve leaf prints in this paper pack, and I love how it turned out. I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about featuring Moody Mauve in this color palette, but WOW! It really shows its beauty here!
PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card. Sometimes it’s easier to see a project put together visually, rather than explaining with words!
The card base is a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″, and folded in half at 5-1/2″. Then, cut 1-1/2″ off of the side that will be the front of your card. Be sure to save this piece! It will be part of your sentiment layer.
Next, I layered the card base with a piece of Copper Clay, measuring 3-7/8″ x 4-1/8″. Then, the leaf print DSP measures 3-3/4″ x 4″.
When you open the card, the Very Vanilla piece measures 3-7/8″ x 4-1/8″, and the Vanilla foil-printed piece of DSP measures 1-3/8″ x 4-1/8″.
The sentiment layer is the leftover piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, and then you layer a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock on top of it, measuring 1-3/8″ x 4-1/8″.
To decorate the card front, I used several different foil prints from the DSP and cut out little leaves, using the Autumn Leaves dies. I love this die set! The leaf vein piece is really delicate, and it looks so good cut out of all different colors of cardstock. It also looks good cut out of the foil DSP! For my card here, I cut it out of Early Espresso cardstock.
Once you’ve glued the leaf veins onto the big maple leaf die, you can adhere all of the various little leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals. And finally, the sentiment was stamped with matching Copper Clay ink, from the Autumn Leaves stamp set.
I used the 2023-25 In Color Dots (the Moody Mauve ones, of course!) to sprinkle on the card for my final touch. These gems looked perfect, along with the Moody Mauve ribbon.
Have you started to make Fall projects yet? I hope you’ll grab this DSP, as well as the stamp set and dies! It really is such an amazing bundle, you’ll just love it!
