This month’s theme is FUN FOLDS, and I’m really excited about the HUGE tutorial that you can buy as an instant download in my Made to Create store! I know you’re going to love it. Those of you who have made a $50+ purchase (before tax & shipping) through my Stampin’ Up! website in the month of August will also receive a copy of this awesome tutorial for FREE!
For today’s blog post, I made a card featuring the Terrific Toadstools stamp set, featuring the cool Fun Fold technique that I’ve demonstrated in this month’s tutorial. It’s super fun!

I love the natural colors I used for this month’s card. The cardstock colors I featured are Basic Beige and Cajun Craze, and then I used tons of different stamp pads: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, and Soft Sea Foam. Whew!! I had a lot of fun stamping and hand-cutting out all of these cute little toadstools.
I also featured the Everyday Arches dies here, which are one of my favorites!! They’ve become a staple in my go-to die selection! I highly encourage you to grab them.

The Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper is also a MUST!! There are so many colors in the pack, and the prints are PERFECT for alllllll different kinds of cards. Oh my! I’ve used this pack so much!
I used a technique on my toadstools that is always such a good one. It’s called the “Rock & Roll” technique. That means that, for example, when I inked up one of the stems with Crumb Cake ink, I then took it and “rocked” the right-hand edge of the stamp into Early Espresso ink to give it some shading. If you look closely, you can see that I did this on several stems, as well as the large mushroom top. It’s a GREAT technique to use when you’re stamping your autumn leaves during the Fall!
Trust me…I’ve already had a look at the tutorial for this month, and you’re going to love it! Fun Folds are always SO MUCH FUN to make!! You’ll be able to use the fun fold I’m featuring here today, plus 12 other folds in this mega tutorial.
