Easter Basket Fun Fold Card - Creativity Abounds Blog Hop

It’s time for the February Creativity Abounds Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all around the world who are here to share our creative ideas with you. We hope to inspire you this month with FUN FOLDS! Who doesn’t love a good fun fold?! You may be starting here, or you may have come from someone else’s blog. Either way, there is a list at the end of this post to help you “hop” to all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. Here is the project I created for the exclusive tutorial. Isn’t it cool?? I used the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper (DSP), as well as the Greenery Lane stamp set to make this Fun Fold, and I know you’ll love making it! All of the directions to make this card are included in this month’s tutorial

For today’s blog post, I made an ADORABLE Fun Fold card using the Easter Basket bundle. This bundle is so versatile…I didn’t even use bunnies on this card! I made it more centered around Spring, and I love that there is a “hello, Spring!” sentiment in the set!

I started out with Crumb Cake cardstock, measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″. I scored it at 5-1/2″, and then put it in my trimmer and cut the card front off, leaving 1-1/2″ on the “top” near the score line. Then, I took the piece that I cut off, and cut it down to measure 2-1/4″ x 4-1/4″. That will be the bottom of the card.

The Designer Series Paper that I used on this Fun Fold is the February 2026 Product of the Month, which is a DSP pack called Painted Illusions. Isn’t it perfect for Spring? I love the soft-colored designs in this pack! The DSP pieces measure 1-1/4″ x 4″ (layered onto 4-1/8″ x 1-1/8″ Basic White), and 2″ x 4″ (layered onto 2-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ Basic White).

Using another piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, I die cut out the 2nd to the largest Beautifully Celebrated label dies, which are SO awesome! They are big and beautiful to use as focal pieces on your cards!

I layered up lots of die cuts from here. I die cut out the Easter basket from Basic White cardstock, the woven strips to weave into the basket with Flirty Flamingo cardstock, and the same color for the basket ruffle and the bow. I also die cut out the Easter grass and the flower stems from Soft Sea Foam cardstock, and then added the daffodils die cut out of Lemon Lolly cardstock. I used both Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals to put together the whole “scene,” and I love how it turned out!

I stamped the sentiment with Flirty Flamingo ink, and banner-cut the left-hand edge. I sprinkled on some of the beautiful Pearlized Faceted Circles, which match this color scheme PERFECTLY.

After finishing all of these different pieces, I put the card front together. I folded down the small “flap” on the score line, then laid the bottom piece down so that it lays exactly where it needs to match up to the bottom of the card. Then I put adhesive on both top & bottom of the focal point die cut, and it makes the “bridge” that holds the entire card front together! Isn’t that cool? I hope I made sense explaining that!
