Florals in Bloom EASY DSP Card

Back to the basics! It’s soooo easy to make beautiful cards for those you love. It’s as quick as grabbing some paper that you love, matching it with a piece of cardstock for your base layer, and putting it all together!

Today’s project features the beautiful new Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper (DSP) by Stampin’ Up! There are so many different floral prints in the pack, it’s hard to choose which one to use. PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card, so that you can watch it step-by-step.

I started with a card base of Petunia Pop cardstock, measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and folded in half. Next, I layered on a piece of Basic White cardstock, measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″. Finally, I layered on the beautiful floral DSP, which measures 3-3/4″ x 5″. How basic and easy is that?! Each layer is 1/4″ smaller than the last.

For the sentiment, I used one of the dies in the gorgeous new Sentimental Framing die set. There are so many beautiful dies in that set! I think I will be using it a LOT! I stamped a sentiment from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set, using Petunia Pop ink, and added this to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a Shy Shamrock bow with a Mini Glue Dot, and sprinkled on a few of the new Holographic Dots. That’s it! The card is finished, and it’s gorgeous!
