Fabulous Sayings – Product of the Month Blog Hop

January’s Product of the Month is in full swing! Stampin’ Up! started a new program in December, called the Product of the Month (POM). In the United States, when you have a qualifying order of $75+, you can add the monthly POM to your order for only $5! And this month, that exclusive item is the Fabulous Sayings stamp set. It’s SUCH a great sentiment set!

This card layout is easy yet so pretty, using several different paper layers to make the sentiment stand out. I started with a Soft Sea Foam card base, measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and folded in half. Next, I layered on one of the GORGEOUS specialty Designer Series Paper pieces from the Lovely & Beautiful paper pack. This pack is full of gold foil accents, which makes it stand out in an elegant way! This piece measures 4″ x 5-1/4″.

Layered on top of all of that is a piece of our beautiful Vellum paper, which I have embossed using the Beautiful Patterns Embossing Folder. Did you know that when you emboss vellum, it turns out this beautifully?? **SWOON!!!**

I stamped the sentiment using Soft Sea Foam ink, and the sentiment layers were die cut out using the Beautifully Celebrated dies. The sentiment piece is the 2nd to the smallest die, and the Calypso Coral piece is the 3rd smallest die.

After adding some ribbon and gems, the card is complete! I even added a 3/4″ strip of the beautiful paper to the inside of the card, to tie it all together.
