Endless Love Corner Fold Fun Fold Card

This card is the last of my examples of how to make a Corner Fold card, and I sure hope you plan to make one using this awesome layout! It is such a great way to use up some of your gorgeous Designer Series Paper (DSP), and for this design I used the Endless Love bundle.

I started with a piece of DSP that measures 6-3/4″ x 8″. Next, I scored on each side at 2-3/4″. Now, as is shown in the video, you take the top, left-hand corner and fold it backward so that the score lines all “line up” once it’s folded down. If you hold the piece of DSP, and fold it back, you’ll see what I’m talking about. Get those score lines to match up, and then press & score the DSP at an angle.

Now, turn the DSP over (the way you actually want your card to lay), and the corner will naturally told toward you, making that cool corner fold! It is so neat! Once the DSP is in the fun fold format, I layered it onto a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock, measuring 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Here’s how I dressed up the rest of the card.

On the inside of the card, there is a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock that measures 3-3/4″ x 5″. I did my stamping onto Basic White cardstock, and that piece measures 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″. I used Real Red and Black Memento inks.

The top accent corner on the inside of the card is also Flirty Flamingo, and this piece measures 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″. Layered onto that is a piece of the matching DSP that is 2-1/4″ x 2-1/4″. Isn’t it a perfect little accent in the upper corner?

The outside of the card is decorated with lots of die cuts from the Endless Love die set. I used Basic white, Flirty Flamingo, Bubble Bath, Real Red, and Basic Black cardstocks. I added a Bubble Bath ribbon accent, tied with a Red & White Twine bow. I stamped the sentiment with Black Memento ink, and layered all of these hearts up and attached it to the card front. I LOVE how it looks!

The arrow is actually too short to go behind this heart, so I cut it in half and glued each end to the outer edges of the heart. Doesn’t it look great? You’d never know!
