I’ve made another bright and cute card today, using the Cheers & Sips stamp set! The coordinating paper pack, called Celebratory Sips, is just ADORABLE, and it’s perfect for Summertime fun.
I LOVE creating with my Designer Series Paper (DSP) packs…why make more work for yourself, if you have a gorgeous piece of paper right in front of you?? I chose to use a print from this pack that is so bright and cheerful, I just love it! Full of color and whimsy, this card screams SUMMER.

PLEASE CLICK HERE to watch the video where I made this card. It’s such an easy one to make!
I started off with a Soft Sea Foam card base, measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and folded in half. I love this color, because it is so light, it almost looks white. But it’s not. It adds an extremely soft background color, without being in your face.
Layered on top of this is a piece of Blackberry Bliss, measuring 3″ x 4-1/4″. This is glued down directly to the card base.

Finally, layered on top of this are 4 strips of the DSP. If you look closely, you’ll see that I cut the pieces all in a row, so it is like a continuous “scene” that is slightly separated like window panes. The strips all measure 3-1/2″ long, and are varying widths: 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, and 1-1/4″. I adhered these all down using Stampin’ Dimensionals, so that they add some height and texture to the card front.
The sentiment was stamped using Blackberry Bliss ink onto Basic White cardstock, die cut out from one of the dies from the Stylish Shapes die set. I adhered this on and then added a little lemon slice, which was the perfect touch! I cut a slice into it using my Paper Snips, and then tucked it onto the label.

The final touch was adding a few of the Starburst Sequins, as well as a little strip of DSP onto the inside of the card. Isn’t it cute and fun??
